What task 1 looks like
A newspaper article of about 550 to 640 words: title, subtitle, an opening paragraph and then two or three subheadings. Experts with name and profession speak in the text, often in direct quotes. One Austrian word is marked with an asterisk and explained at the bottom.
Plus a solved example and five questions, numbered 1 to 5, with A, B and C. Only one answer is correct; the other two are traps, built from a few recipes. The whole task is worth 5 of the 20 Lesen points.
