One programme, four sections
In task 1 you hear one programme on one topic, about 8 minutes long. A voice announces the four sections: “Abschnitt eins”, “Abschnitt zwei” … On the sheet, each section has its own fixed group of statements.
The announcement also helps when you lose the thread. If in your head you are still on statement 5 and you hear “Abschnitt drei”, put a “?” at 5 and 6 and carry on listening from statement 7. You hear the part for 5 and 6 again in the 2nd listen.
