Complaining formally
A short building block with no exam task: the language you need in these parts of the exam.
- Schreiben · Aufgabe 1
You turn an angry note into a formal sentence, set the promise against reality and phrase a clear demand.
5 min
The note becomes a sentence
Daniel spent a weekend at the Hotel Tauernhof in Bad Hofgastein. Next to the advert he jotted down a note. Follow step by step as it turns into his email.
“Bad zu, Renovierung!!” is short and angry. That is fine, the note is only for Daniel. It goes into the email neither in telegram style nor as an accusation, but as a full, factual sentence.
Beschwerde: Wellness-Wochenende vom 7. bis 9. März
„Entspannen Sie in unserem beheizten Panorama-Hallenbad.“
