Eine E-Mail schreiben
You answer an e-mail, version A (informal du) or B (formal Sie), and cover all four Leitpunkte. You have 40 minutes.
Worth up to 45 of the 225 points of the written exam. The parts are added up, pass mark 135.
You answer all four Leitpunkte with real content, respond to the email you received and write a well-structured reply in 40 minutes.
14 min · at the end, a task in the real exam format
What the task looks like
You have 40 minutes for a single email. It's worth up to 45 points, a fifth of the written exam. The sheet has two versions: A is personal (du), B is formal (Sie). You reply to one email.
First read both versions with all eight Leitpunkte. Take the one where you have something to say on all four points, not simply the one with the du form or the shorter email: a Leitpunkt with no content costs more than the Sie form, and formal emails have fixed phrases you can learn.
This is Variante B, the task in this lesson. The situation: your GP's practice has written to you. Below the four Leitpunkte it also says: “Schreiben Sie eine Anrede, eine passende Einleitung und einen passenden Schluss.”
