Suggesting and agreeing
A short building block with no exam task: the language you need in these parts of the exam.
- Sprechen · Teil 3
You make suggestions, agree with a reason, say no politely with a reason and a new idea, and at the end say what you've agreed on.

How you plan together
You're in the parents' association of the Kindergarten in Feldbach. With Amra you're planning a stall selling Kinderpunsch (a hot fruit punch for children) at the Advent market. The money goes to the Kindergarten.
When you plan together, you always take the same steps: suggest, agree or say no, bring a new idea, ask your partner and at the end reach an agreement. Go through your conversation step by step.
Amra makes two suggestions: “Ich schlage vor, dass …” (I suggest that …) and, as a question, “Wie wäre es mit …?” (How about …?) Both are polite, and it’s easy for the other person to say yes or no. Where the verb goes comes up in a moment.
Was meinst du?
